Bill Gates (Education)

Co-Founder Of Microsoft

Undergraduate Education: Pre-Law (DROPOUT)

Bill Gates is one of the most famous college dropouts. His father was a well-known lawyer and subsequently went to Harvard for pre-law after scoring 1590 on his SATs. At Harvard however, Gates was much more passionate about mathematics and computers than he was about law. He spent much of his time at Harvard in the computer lab developing programs and products. Gates ended up dropping out of Harvard after being convinced by his friend and Microsoft co-founder, Paul Allen, that it was the right thing to do. After dropping out Gates went to work with Allen full time.
