Cuban enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh for a year where he was a very active student. Cuban was a member of the Phi Lambda Phi fraternity, a bar tender, and a party promoter. Cuban later transferred to Indiana University where he was a business major at the Kelley School of Business. At Indiana, Cuban bought a local bar which he renamed Motley’s. Motley’s became one of the most popular bars in town but was shut down after the bar held a wet T-shirt contest.
