Peter Cashmore (Education)
Founder Of Mashable
Cashmore suffered from appendicitis, as a result he fell out of sync with his classmates and was absent from school more often than not. Cashmore thus became more and more independent from school and began to work on his own. Cashmore then became accustomed to working on his own and preferred not go to college because he was turned off by the idea of working under authority figures. He preferred to educate himself by reading and writing about technology.
