At age 16 Buffett began his studies at the University of Pennsylvania’s, Wharton School of Business. At Wharton, Buffet was a part of the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity, however he transferred out of Wharton two years later. Buffet enrolled at the University of Nebraska where he finished his business studies. Buffet claimed in an interview that at Nebraska he particularly enjoyed his accounting classes and that every business major must have knowledge in the language of accounting. Buffet later went on to get his Master of Science in Economics at Columbia University after he was rejected by Harvard Business School.
